The Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED blended learning course equips students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid breathing and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children and infants. It is designed for students who need a certification that satisfies OSHA workplace or other regulatory requirements. This class is taught in a blended learning format and the online portion (accessed via mobile desktop or tablet) must be completed prior to attending the Instructor-led skills session. Upon successful completion a valid 2 year digital certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED is issued. This course is for for anyone that would like to be trained in basic level CPR, First Aid and AED to provide care to a person of any age. It is highly recommended that everyone take this course to equip our communiites with life saving skills.

The Basic Life Support (BLS) Training Course provides healthcare providers and public safety professionals the knowledge and skills necessary to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adult child and infant patients. This class is taught in a blended learning format and the online portion can be accessed via desktop or tablet and must be completed prior to attending the instructor-led skills session. Upon successful completion of the course learners will receive a 2-year Basic Life Support certificate that is OSHA compliant. The American Red Cross is an accredited provider of continuing education by the Commission on Accreditation for Prehospital Continuing Education.
This course is recommended for licensed healthcare provider such as physicians, dentist, EMTs, nurses, nursing students and other professionals that require state licensure or that work in a healthcare setting such as hospital, clinic, home health, dental office, medical lab, etc.

By building on your Basic Life Support (BLS) knowledge, our course emphasizes providing high-quality patient care by integrating rhythm interpretation, electrical interventions, pharmacologic knowledge with critical thinking, problem-solving, and in-person psychomotor skills practice to achieve the best possible patient outcomes. Throughout the Red Cross ALS course, you'll learn advanced life support assessment, as well as how to best manage respiratory emergencies, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) protocols for acute arrhythmias, cardiac arrest (including post-cardiac arrest care), acute coronary syndromes and acute stroke within or outside of a medical facility setting.
The Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course includes the latest science-based curriculum, but with options that allow you to streamline your training and improve skill retention.
Throughout your PALS course, you'll learn to assess, recognize and provide high-quality care to pediatric patients experiencing life-threatening medical emergencies, including shock, cardiac and respiratory events, as well as how to provide care after the return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC) during a resuscitation effort. In addition, our course will challenge your critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, and help improve your teamwork skills to provide better patient care.
The First Aid / CPR / AED Instructor Training Course BL-R.21 will train instructor candidates to teach basic-level American Red Cross First Aid CPR and AED courses. In order to participate in this course you must possess a current basic-level American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED (or higher level) certification or equivalent and be at least 16 years of age on the last day of the instructor course. Upon registration it is important that you review and follow the directions on the e-mail attachment sent with your registration confirmation. This is a blended learning course consisting of online content a skills session and classroom segments. Online material must be completed prior to attending the classroom activities. This course will enable you to align with an American Red Cross licensed training provider and teach classes in your community.
The BLS (Basic Life Support) Instructor Course provides all information necessary to help instructors plan, prepare for, and conduct the Basic Life Support blended learning Course. Lesson plans in the manual include learning objectives, lecture notes, video prompts and emergency response scenario tools to help participants perfect the critical skills of CPR, using an AED, relieving an obstructed airway and caring for patients experiencing opioid overdose while building the critical thinking and problem-solving skills necessary to improve patient outcomes. The Pediatric Advanced Life Support Instructor Course provides all information necessary to help instructors plan, prepare for, and conduct the Pediatric Advanced Life Support blended learning course. The instructor’s manual includes learning objectives, lecture notes and tools designed to train participants to work effectively as part of a high-performance PALS resuscitation team.
